Your Opportunity

We are actively seeking for Mechanical Technologist Interns to join our growing team in Canada and the U.S.A. Length of assignment is customizable, but ideally this would be a May to August 2023 term. You will be required to work in the office location where this posting is offered such as Calgary and Edmonton, AB, Fredericton, NB, Bakersfield, CA and Denver, CO.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Drawing preparation using AutoCAD and Plant3d
  • P&ID and Flow Diagram preparation
  • Design and 3D modeling of piping and mechanical systems
  • Preparation of isometric drawings

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Must be self-motivated, team oriented, efficient, and a good communicator
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office specifically in Windows maneuvering, Word, Excel and Access is desirable
  • Ability to work in an environment of constantly changing technology and project assignment

Education and Experience

  • Currently enrolled in an Accredited Technology program or related field.

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
