What this challenge is about
We are looking for an Intern, Analyst, Operational Security, offering a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a constantly evolving field. By joining our security team, you will contribute to strengthening our organization's defense against digital threats while developing your information security skills.
Reporting to the Director of Operational Security, you will work closely with our security team to support our operational security initiatives while gaining valuable practical experience in the field of information security.
Your responsibilities:
Assist the team in monitoring security activities in our IT infrastructure;
Contribute to the analysis of security logs and alerts to detect suspicious behavior or potential incidents;
Assist in responding to security incidents following established procedures;
Participate in vulnerability management by helping to identify, assess, and resolve security vulnerabilities;
Aid in data collection and documentation during security incidents;
Contribute to the documentation of operational security processes;
Participate in the preparation of metrics on operational security activities.
What we're looking for
Student in information security, computer science, or a related field;
Basic knowledge of information security and IT;
Analytical and problem-solving skills;
Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively;
Attention to detail and commitment to security best practices;
Familiarity with commonly used security tools.
