Position Description:

Bell is currently seeking an experienced candidate for the position of Project Manager, Information Security Testing and Incident Response Team. Reporting to the Senior Program Manager, the candidate is responsible for managing Information Security testing projects with an understanding of the company’s strategies, priorities and issues.

We are seeking a result-oriented candidate with Information Security knowledge who possesses strong communication and interpersonal ability. The work environment is dynamic and requires the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment who is able to work with a wide scope of work that is ever changing. The successful candidates will have a can-do personality who thinks outside of the box and is driven by change.

Job Duties/ Accountabilities:

  • Build, lead and coordinate, in indirect supervision mode, the activities of a multidisciplinary team including senior technical resources.
  • Prepare complex project management plans based on objectives, activities and resource requirements by identifying deliverables and dependencies,
  • Divide the project into achievable tasks and set up a functional organizational chart with roles and responsibilities.
  • Analyse project assignments and propose project management processes to deliver approved project scope.
  • Maintain dashboards on a periodic and progressive basis all through the programs/projects.
  • Manage all activities of the project by developing, organizing, maintaining and regularly updating project plans; controlling budgetary expenditures; directing/instructing human resources, managing change in scope and roadmaps.
  • Ensure proactive and effective communication with stakeholders and maintain good relationships with internal and external collaborators by facilitating discussions and resolving conflicts internal and external to the Service
  • Resolve problems by analysing and following best practices and standards by developing new approaches.
  • Develop and enhance communication models to assess the success of the corporate vulnerability management program with the development and infrastructure support teams in support of risk management practices.
  • Provide timely advice to experts and sponsors all through the project to ensure target objectives are achieved.
  • Support Information Security Testing & Incident Response team to maintain business operations.
  • Conduct simple security testing tasks under the direction of SMEs as required.
  • Anticipate issues and difficult situations and take the necessary steps to resolve them.

Qualifications/ Competencies:

Candidates must have:

  • Relevant Degree or Diploma, Project Management Certificate
  • Minimum of 5-7 years experience in Project Management with acceptable combination of experience & education
  • Proven ability to manage successful business relationships with peers in various departments & at different levels of management
  • Working in a virtual environment and collaborative tools
  • Proven facilitation capability with ability to pull together experts & gather project requirements
  • Excellent communication both oral & written
  • Strong PC & Internet acumen including working at the intermediate level in MS Office programs
  • Proven leadership capability, strong planning & organization
  • Good understanding of IT, Network and/or Security environments
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, uncertainty and constant changing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal ability and sense of team spirit
  • In addition, preference will be given to candidates who have any of the following certifications:
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Prince 2 Practitioner certification
    • Recognized IT Security certification (Security+, CISSP, CISM,...) is a plus
  • Background working on Projects responsible for Penetration Testing & Vulnerability Testing

Preferred Qualifications/ Competencies:

  • Bilingual (English/French)
  • Atlassian Suite (Confluence / Jira)
  • MS-SharePoint
  • Knowledge of Iterative / Agile development methodologies and frameworks

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
