Lecture/Laboratory/Tutorial Locations, Times and Days (if available): Please review the Undergraduate Course Timetable prior to applying/indicating your preferences, as Tas are required to work in labs.  The timetable can be found at http://registrar.mcmaster.ca/enrol/class-search/.  Please note: “C” indicates core section, “L” indicates laboratory section, “T” indicates tutorial section, “D” indicates day, and “E” indicates evening.

 

 

 

Skills, Qualifications, Abilities and Experience – Required & Preferred:

 

 

  • Applicants must be an undergraduate student enrolled in an Engineering, BSc or BHSc program and have completed Level II
  • Applicants must have proficiency with the English language, have related teaching experience, are motivated and have a Cumulative Average above 7.5. 
  • Preference may be given to applicants who have experience running labs and tutorials. 
  • This position is restricted to applicants who do not hold an undergraduate degree.
  • Please check the course timetable to ensure you are available for the tutorials/labs in the course you are applying to.
 

Other Information***:

 

 

  • As a returning TA you are expected to have maintained at least a 7.5 cumulative average to be considered for rehire. 
  • Please indicate in your application which course you are applying for.
