Job Description

Our IT Corporate Solutions Group (CSG) is looking for an experienced individual who can fill a permanent, fulltime IAM Technical Solutions Architect role on our Identity and Access Management Team. As an Architect, using your in-depth knowledge and experience, you will deliver thought leadership, projects delivery, and grow team skills. Our IAM space is growing rapidly and your experience in role-based access control, privileged access management and identity governance is vital to HOOPP’s security and on-going success.

What you will do:
- Provide thought leadership across our Identity Management and Privileged Access space
- Provide senior technical knowledge across HOOPP’s suite of IAM products and applications
- Lead and participate in IAM project including product lifecycle management
- Manage technical planning and operations spanning multiple systems and technologies
- Develop standards, patterns, and practices to improve IAM infrastructure
- Demonstrate innovations, and support knowledge-sharing across other IT Agile teams
- Support the maturity of HOOPP’s IAM roadmaps, standards and practices, in collaboration with the Portfolio architect
- Actively participate in agile scrum practices, such as daily standups, backlog refinement, planning and sprint retrospectives
- Support and build IAM features / enhancements
- Ask powerful questions, create awareness, and guide individuals and groups in exploring options
- Lead and contribute to design sessions, and support the community of subject matter experts
- Help support and sustain technology and process continuous improvements
- Remain current on developments in the Identity and Access Management space
- Facilitate effective team discussion, decision-making and communication
- Mentor and provide guidance and knowledge to team members, and promote efficiency
- Regularly write wiki articles, and participate in issue and team retrospectives
- Architect and design IAM and security improvements in public and private cloud
- Collaborate with vendor(s) and support the scheduling of upgrades
- Identify repetitive tasks and build tools / processes for automation and self-service
- Participate in operational support requests, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Participate in the off-hours On-Call rotation. Our off-hours support volume is light, and we put in the effort to keep it that way.

Who you are:
- Senior IT professional who is self-motivated, with deep analytic and problem-solving skills
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 10+ years of operations and project experience in progressively more senior roles across:
- Authentication Services
- Authorization Services
- User Management Services
- Directory Services
- 3+ years in an Architect, Consultant or similar role
- Experience in leading delivery on major features in a complex environment
- Expertise and working knowledge in multiple areas listed in our technology stack
- In-depth conceptual knowledge and practical hands-on expertise in IAM
- Strong knowledge of Agile practices such as Scrum or Kanban, MVP, etc.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps engineering
- Strong knowledge of cyber security and how to secure HOOPP systems
- Understand the benefits of automation, experienced with automating repetitive work
- A thought-leader in the identity space who can clearly express ideas, concepts, and architecture to all levels in the team and to stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, with an ability to take end-to-end ownership and drive an outcome
- Provides a valued voice in the identity and access management space, and is open to innovative ideas
- Strong self-awareness and high emotional intelligence, making you a trusted and valued contributor and partner
- Collaborative and a strong team player, adept at building relationships
