Adecco is actively seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Associate to join our client’s team in Blue River, BC. In this full-time role, you will support the HR Manager in delivering HR programs and services that enhance the employee experience and ensure compliance with company and legal standards. This position offers up to $27 per hour and discounted accommodation, making it an excellent opportunity to grow your HR career in a dynamic and supportive environment.

  • Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:  

  • Support job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and new hire onboarding including documentation and orientation.

  • Assist with exit processes and maintain feedback tracking.

  • Ensure HR practices align with legal and policy standards; stay up-to-date on employment legislation and trends.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee files, training records, and HR reports.

  • Administer benefits, assist with claims, and contribute to occupational health and safety initiatives.

  • Support recognition programs, wellness activities, and staff events.

  • Provide HR project support, reporting, and documentation management.

  • Promote a positive workplace culture and assist with performance management, conflict resolution, and succession planning.

Requirements:  

  • Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.

  • Diploma or certification in Human Resources Management required.

  • Previous HR experience with working knowledge of employment standards and legislation.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate cultural sensitivity.

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • English fluency at C2 level or equivalent.

  • Class 5 driver’s license and Intermediate Occupational First Aid are assets.
