The Canadian Human Resources (HR) Local Administration Analyst will be a key member of the Canadian HR Local Administration Team that will support HR Operational tasks for all Johnson and Johnson's Canadian companies. Specifically, as a catalyst to the success of the Service Centre strategy, you will perform tasks related to analysis, execution, and support of HR transactions via several HR Systems. You will be expected to handle inquiries in a confidential professional, helpful and timely manner. In addition, you will communicate to key partners across several functions to investigate, research and resolve all issues promptly and appropriately including all required customer follow-up. This role will need to work independently and within a team environment and is located out of our Toronto office. 

Key Responsibilities:

•           You will handle all information and system requirements including data validation to support HR transaction and payroll processes, you will be the subject matter expert in SAP/Our Source or Workday transactions

•           You will handle leave of absence claims with third party vendor

•           You support the implementation of global/standardized HR processes at the local/regional level

•           You will handle some HR transactional projects such as: mergers/acquisitions/reorganizations

•           Full accountability to handle complex and/or confidential inquiries/requests and assume ownership of raised issues from internal and external business partners by following established processes Intensive follow-up with clients to handle HR transactional processes

•           You will provide direction for HR transactional processes for employees across multiple Canadian affiliate companies

•           Ensure data accuracy and validity with respect to HR systems

•           Develop and build reports to support HR services



• Minimum of a Bachelors’ degree, ideally with a concentration in Human Resources, is required

Experience and Skills:
• 3-5+ years’ experience in a proven customer service capacity, within HR
• An understanding of Canadian Employment Legislation
• Experience with Leave of Absence Management Vendors
• Project Management skills is an asset
• Good technical skills, including software packages such as MS Office
• Demonstrable experience with an integrated business system (HRIS preferred, SAP or Workday experience an asset)
• Previous experience in HR processing (employee data management preferred; recruiting, compensation, or benefits administration also considered)
• Previous experience in a shared service center environment
• Requires excellent people skills, above average ability to communicate clearly and ability to prioritize
• Organization skills, with proven follow through tasks
• Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and meet deadlines
• Ability to take care of multiple tasks (at a time) is critical
• Strong work ethic with the ability to handle confidential material
• Sense of urgency in solving customer requests to ensure accurate resolution and an ability to work under stress, multi-task, and meet deadlines
• Ability to process complex information and determine solutions that meet both internal and strategic partner requirements


• Bilingualism is an asset (French/English)
• You may be required to travel to our offices within the Greater Toronto Area less than 10%
