Adecco is currently seeking a skilled HR Administrator to join our clients team on a temporary to permanent basis in Etobicoke, ON. As an HR Administrator, you will play a crucial role in organizing and maintaining personnel records, overseeing onboarding processes, handling employee inquiries, and ensuring legal compliance.
Pay rate: $22/hour.
Location: Etobicoke, ON
First two weeks of training in-office, after that hybrid or remote
Shifts: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
Job type: Temporary to Permanent | Full-time

Detailed Job Description:
Organize, maintain, and update internal databases with digital personnel records of relevant employee information.
Supervise new employee onboarding, prepare on-boarding documentation, and conduct orientation sessions.
Act as the first point of contact for employees on HR-related issues.
Ensure legal compliance in all HR processes.
Update, maintain, and present reports with KPIs, including turnover rates and hires by each department.
Gather staffing needs from each Canadian region and create and publish job ads.
Schedule job interviews, contact, screen, and shortlist candidates as needed.
Respond to emails and calls on behalf of the department.
Administer background checks and other pre-employment screenings.
Prepare correspondence, arrange meetings, process confidential reports and documents.
Handle employee queries, written or verbal, with the utmost confidentiality.
Bring HR-related issues to the attention of managers.
Keep up to date on current issues and matters related to the HR department.
Frequently interact with regional managers and supervisors to disseminate information.
Candidate's Profile:
Proven experience as an HR Administrator or relevant role.
Proficiency in using HR software like HRIS or HRMS.
Digital literacy with expertise in using MS Office applications.
Thorough knowledge of labor relations and laws.
Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects.
Excellent communication skills for in-person, email, and telephone communication.
Excellent written English skills to create reports and meet tight deadlines.
Minimum bachelor’s degree in HR or relevant business field.
An excellent learner with the ability to work in teams.
Good organizational abilities.
Flexibility and willingness to learn.
Good problem-solving skills.
Basic knowledge of the recruitment process.
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
