Position: Hospitality Associate

 

Full-Time or Part-Time:
SEASONAL: Part-Time, 24 hours per week up to 39.5 hours per week

 

Hourly Wage Rate: $22.58/hour

Anticipated Normal Work Schedule

 

Monday to Thursday: 2:30pm – 8:00pm
Friday: 2:00pm – 6:30pm

 

Note: This schedule is subject to change. May be required to work Saturdays and Sundays.

Job Description Summary

  •  

    Must be able to perform fast, accurate customer transactions in a fast-paced environment. May be required to perform a cashier test.

  •  

    Must be able to keep up with high-volume customer demands while maintaining high standards.

  •  

    Must successfully complete Second Cup online and practical training.

  •  

    Must adhere to all Second Cup standards, policies, and procedures at all times.

  •  

    Maintain accurate time, temperature, delivery, and cleaning logs.

  •  

    Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs on a regular basis.

  •  

    May assume responsibility for opening and closing of the facility.

  •  

    Maintain the levels of supplies, cleanliness, and tidiness of display fridges, merchandisers, counters, walls, shelves, and glass.

  •  

    Must adhere to Hospitality Policies and procedures, including the principles of FIFO.

  •  

    Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.

  •  

    Understand and deliver good customer service.

  •

Education & Experience

  •  

    Minimum 3 years’ experience in a fast-paced cashier position.

  •  

    Previous experience in a similar operation is an asset.

  •  

    Must have good communication, reading, writing, and English skills.
