Adecco is currently hiring an experienced permanent full-time Heavy Duty Technician specializing in Cummins engines for our client on their Calgary, AB team.

As a Heavy Duty Technician - Cummins Engine Specialist, you will be a key member of our technical team, responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty vehicles and equipment, particularly those equipped with Cummins engines. Your in-depth knowledge of Cummins engines and your technical skills will be essential in delivering top-tier service to our customers.

  • Pay rate: $83,200- $100,000 / year

  • Location: Calgary, AB

  • Shifts: Monday to Friday (40H weekly)

  • Job type: Permanent| Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Specializing in Cummins engines.

  • Build and supports vocational vehicles for essential sectors such as fire, utility, towing, municipalities, and others.

  • Build, service, and repair vehicles for vital customers.

  • Be at the forefront of the Cummins Full-Service maintenance and repair program

Qualifications:

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada

  • More than 5 years of experience working with and on Cummins engines for both in-frame and out-of-frame maintenance and service.

  • Fluent with Cummins Quick Serve.

  • Platform training on L9, X12 and/or x15 preferred.

  • Full-Service qualifications for most common Cummins vocational engines (B, L, and X-Series).

  • Journeyperson certificate.

  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license.

  • Strong attention to safety, detail, and accuracy.

  • Commitment to providing outstanding internal/external customer service.

  • Interprovincial Red Seal.

  • CUFC certificate.

  • CVIP certificate.

  • Knowledge of the truck equipment industry.

  • Experience with hydraulics and 12V truck equipment.

  • Knowledge of Fire/Emergency apparatus.

  • Ability and drive to serve as a leader for the continued development and expansion the Cummins Maintenance program.
