Healthcare Compliance Specialist (non-GMP based)

Markham, Ontario

Temporary Full-Time | 8-Month Contract

 

Are you a compliance professional with a passion for healthcare and a knack for project management? We’re looking for an experienced Healthcare Compliance Specialist to join our client’s dynamic and detailed team on an 8-month contract to support their compliance program across Canada.

 

As part of the Canadian team, you will:

  • Lead and support compliance initiatives, ensuring alignment with global, local, and industry standards.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally on high-impact projects like internal audits and process improvements.

  • Develop and automate workflows to streamline operations while maintaining compliance.

  • Draft and maintain country-specific compliance policies and procedures.

  • Deliver engaging compliance training and monitor completion across teams.

  • Implement and support monitoring programs to proactively manage risk.

  • Investigate potential compliance issues and recommend solutions.

 

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, business, law, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or related industries.

  • Proven experience in a compliance-focused role - NOTE that this is not quality, regulatory or GMP Compliance but non-GMP, business compliance so please ensure you showcase this in your resume presentation

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

  • Experience with ABAC compliance programs and training delivery.

  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).
