What you will do
Our Toronto office is seeking undergraduate college and university students to join the team as a co-op student in Fall 2023, Winter 2024 or Summer 2024 as a part of our Tax practice. Students should not be in school during this time.
Please note: CPA PER requirements CANNOT be met in this group.
Our Canadian Tax Team:
Canadian companies operating in multiple jurisdictions must deal with numerous government authorities and frequent changes to tax laws and regulations. Canadian Corporate Tax professionals assist businesses in understanding how to effectively respond to these changes. You will:
- Work with a large amount of data that will need to be analyzed, organized and validated
- Work with senior members of the team to generate various reports for tax compliance for our clients
- Contribute to grow the best-in-class process and technology platforms used to deliver our services
- Collaborate with experienced tax professionals and develop a varied skill set

What you bring to the role
- Post-secondary education in a related discipline is preferred
- Technical aptitude and strong analytical skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills with a strong proficiency in MS Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter and solution-oriented mind-set
- Dedication and strong work ethic, strong team player.
- Strong time-management abilities and self- motivation.
- Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and meet multiple priorities
- Interest in asset management, accounting and tax preferred
