The team you'll be part of
The Optical Network Systems Team Product Group in Nokia’s NI Division is seeking a highly motivated Global Feature and System verification leader to lead the team responsible for all verification, and 4LS support for all of our flagship optical products. In this role, you will be part pf the R&D leadership team that leads the HW, SW, and verification activities.
What you will learn and contribute to
As an Optical Network Systems verification lead, you are responsible and accountable for the quality of the products in the portfolio. You lead a large global and growing team of testers located in 8 different sites. You set and implement the test strategy based on leading-edge test technologies. You push the envelope on test automation; ensuring that our products can deliver massive amounts of top-quality content to its customer base as frequently as possible. You attract and retain top engineering talent globally. You are accountable for ensuring the product delivers with quality for all releases. In this position, you will also manage the lab teams that support the infrastructure required to deliver releases, as well as the 4LS coordination function which interacts quite closely with TEC on all field reported problems/
Your skills and experience
You have:
- 20+ years experience in the software and/or networking industries
- Proven leadership of verification teams, including the ability to scale a top-performing organization
- Experience working in a global team
- Knowledge and experience with latest software development and test techniques, strategies, and tools
- Willingness to travel to the different sites on a semi annual basis
