In this role, you will be a Quality Assurance leader. You will join a team that delivers technical and visual showcases and you will be a large part in helping achieve this vision.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead a studio-wide QA strategy with a quality-first focus
- Build and lead the QA team based on strategic and tactical needs
- Partner with Producers and Directors to build robust risk-based testing plans, and ensure we’re building a healthy culture of quality
- Drive testing efforts across in-studio embedded testing as well as external quality assurance teams to provide an aligned and consistent approach
- Champion QA throughout the organization – identify and implement best practices to drive decisions
- Mentor and grow the QA team and craft
- Advise and lead our automation and machine learning QA tools with our automation team
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years in Quality Assurance management and lead roles with at least one shipped AAA title on PC and console
- 2+ years of direct people manager experience
Preferred:
- 6+ years in Quality Assurance management and lead roles with at least one shipped AAA title on PC and console
- Experience partnering with and providing subject matter expertise across, all levels of the business
- Team/resource management skills: ability to assess skill-set requirements for projects; recognize talent to develop into stretch roles then support career development
- Knowledge or experience with QA tools: Perforce, JIRA, Confluence, and equivalents
- Risk management skills to evaluate development/QA risks and mitigate issues
- Experience with Live Service games
- Experience with Engine, Server, and/or Tools testing
- Experience working with global partners
- An interest in games and knowledge of the shooter genre
