The Personal and Commercial Banking (P&CB) arm of RBC is in the early stages of launching a ground breaking program to deliver the best customer experiences by equipping our advisors with the very latest technology and processes in the industry. We have partnered with Salesforce to build out our next generation CRM Advisor Platform, the cornerstone of this critical transformational program. Together, we’re aiming to take a giant leap towards our goal of becoming a digitally enabled relationship bank.
What will you do?
As a Functional Lead you will be responsible for leading and facilitating discovery and scoping sessions with business team on the CRM Advisor Platform initiative, within an agile delivery environment. You will deal with business process and potential constraints (budget, timeline, expertise, etc.) to define optimal release scope and expectations. You will be responsible to oversee and guide all aspects of requirements delivery including planning, elicitation, analysis and documentation, management, and support.
Provide thought leadership and direction to maximize our CRM transformation with the Salesforce platform.
Facilitate collaborative sessions with large and diverse business stakeholder groups to drive requirements discovery, analysis, and review
Roadmap Management (triage incoming client requests to assess scope and impact; backlog management; user story prioritization and sprint alignment)
Configure Salesforce Sandbox for quick demos to the business team to demonstrate Salesforce best practices and solution approach
Oversee the scrum teams in gathering requirements and documenting system solutions in the form of user stories, story maps, features, epics using agile tools and processes to develop/enhance functionality on the Salesforce platform, including the business analysis and estimates
Consult with Program Architects and Technical leads on solution feasibility and making sure everything is aligned with the overall architectural direction
Coordinate and oversee sprint Reviews/Demos and UAT cycles with the business team
Define the business analysis approach, plans and accurate estimates for requirements, including tasks & deliverables using Agile methodology and tools
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Relevant college, university, or post-graduate degree in Business Analysis or related education (CBAP, PMI-PBA)
8+ years working as a Functional Lead and 5+ years experience leading teams in Salesforce delivery with proven experience in agile
Hands-on experience leading the functional implementation of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud
People management skills and good communicator with the business stakeholders
Experience with contributing to, and delivering complex solutions architecture
Experience in Scrum and Kanban methodologies
Salesforce certifications
Nice-to-have
Critical Thinking and Design Thinking skills with experience in User Centered Design
