Responsibilities
Quality & Food Safety Coordinator
Shift: Weekend Nights (Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7pm-7am)
What you’ll be working on:
In this role you will report to the Quality & Food Safety department where you will be involved in supporting multiple quality and food safety related initiatives throughout the site. You will lead a small team of hourly employees to develop their capability and drive results.
Specifically, the QFS Coordinator’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Preventive control ownership on shift
- Communicating and collaborating cross-functionally to assist the team in solving operational problems
- Ensure a safe work environment for our teams
- Ensure compliance with company and regulatory food safety standards
- Facilitate the implementation and compliance of policies and programs as they pertain to quality & food safety
- Facilitate training and capability development on shift
Qualifications
Who’s a good fit for the team:
- Graduated with a relevant degree or post-secondary designation
- Strong interest in quality & food safety
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Ideal candidates will have the willingness and flexibility to perform tasks as needed in support of the team’s business needs. Primary duties may change as Food Safety requirements change.
