What is the opportunity?
Flexera Administrator
What will you do?
We are in the process of maturing our Software Asset Management (SAM) practice and automated IT asset discovery is part of taking SAM to the next level. It will optimize software and cloud investments, prevent waste of IT resources, get better deals and enable compliance.
The Flexera administrator will play a critical role in the SAM practice and will be responsible for SAM tools administration and support. Below are the key responsibilities:
- Part of the support and operation team for SAM tool and technology (Flexera-based) license management solutions to support software lifecycle management
- Evaluate SAM tool system design and will be involved in the day-to-day technical activities of a cross-functional team and support of SAM tools
- Implement changes on Inventory gathering methods (e.g. third-party integrations, agent deployment)
- Configure IT asset data, foundational data, reports, and dashboards for software lifecycle management and software ROI
- Create and manage custom fields based on customer requirements
- Responsible for the discovery data in the global IT environment, including the managing of new subnets and v-centers as well as analysis of discovery issues
- Monitor and manage inventory Issues; collaborate with Flexera and other technical teams to identify, resolve, and mitigate root cause
- Drive continuous support and process improvements
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have
- At least 5 years of admin experience on Flexera FNMS for SAM
- Experience in system upgrades/fix packs on FNMS
- Knowledge and hands-on experience on Windows/Unix/Linux environment/Virtualization platforms
- Experience implementing and maintaining integrations with third-party solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Hybrid role with the expectation to be in the office minimum 2 days a week
Nice to Have
Knowledge on software license management and optimization
Understanding of cloud
Familiar with ServiceNow platform and CMDB
ITIL v4 certified
Familiar with Agile, Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
