Length of term: 4 months (Fall 2023) September - December 2023
In Person: This co-op opportunity is fully in person as an essential employee on site.
Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada and worldwide.

Reporting to the Senior Facilities Manager (FM) of Corporate Real Estate (CRE) Operations, Canada, the Facilities Coordinator - Co-op will work on various Facilities Operations initiatives and deliver Customer Service based on their knowledge, experience and willingness to explore the topics.
The Facilities Coordinator - Co-op will maintain accurate and up-to-date floor plans and occupancy statistics for the Montreal and Ottawa sites. They will work closely with the Senior Facilities Manager and Junior Facilities Manager. There may be the possibility of a project management role on small- to medium-scale initiatives.
What will you do?
Assist with the coordination of Facilities Management initiatives such as preventative maintenance, repairs, projects and communication
Assist with the planning and execution of services (dispatch, schedule and coordinate with vendors)
Assist with the preparation of floor plans and occupancy statistics for cleaning, inventories, etc.
Assist with documenting and maintaining inventories for major sites
Assist with ensuring that unresolved items are addressed to the clients’ satisfaction within a reasonable time frame
Assist with the management of customer requests and service delivery
Assist with the management of Service Level Agreement (SLA) & Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) processes
What do you need to succeed?
Enrolled in a related program such as Architecture, Design, Engineering, Facilities Management, Project Management
Aptitude and willingness to learn
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet numerous deadlines using excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to handle multiple demands, to adapt to changing business requirements, and solid process improvement skills
Ability to work in a team and independently with minimal supervision
In-depth knowledge of facilities management best practices and processes
Excellent customer service skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted for. The Base Pay which you will be considered for will vary depending on the Campus program you are selected for.
