As an expert advisor in the Private Banking 1859 team at National Bank, you’ll use your expertise to support the team, clients and the business line. In this role, you can have a positive impact on our organization with your communication, analysis and financial recommendation skills.
Your role:
- Support and guide advisors in the business line with wealth management decisions and for any complex questions, in particular by carrying out integrated financial planning
- Analyze different situations in collaboration with stakeholders and develop tools to aid with their performance
- Meet with clients, their legal professionals and tax experts, as required, and advisors to present analyses and integrated financial planning for their files.
- Devise and conduct training activities with targeted organizations inside and outside the Bank
- Act as a resource person for journalists in partnership with Public Affairs, when required
- Publish articles or specialized information documents and host conferences
- Closely follow any news on developments of various tax laws and other legislation and assess the impacts on clients’ personal finances
- Be conscious of reputational issues and risks for the Bank in your dealings with clients
- Maintain relationships with the Bank’s internal and external specialists
- Participate in and publicly comment on changes announced following budgets and tax changes
Your team:
In the Commercial Banking and Private Banking 1859 sector, you’ll be part of a team of 9 colleagues and will report to the Senior Manager of this centre of expertise. Our team stands out for its multidisciplinary knowledge. We work in hybrid mode, so you will share your time among client meetings in business centres, working from home and sometimes in the office. You’ll occasionally be asked to participate in events outside of normal business hours.
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and master’s degree in taxation (or specialized field such as accounting, law, notarial law, actuarial science)
- IQPF membership
- Have experience in the field of integrated financial planning
- Recognized expertise in integrated financial planning
- Strong analytical skills and ability to combine the subtleties of different financial planning disciplines to make recommendations on complex financial issues
- Ability to form relevant financial opinions further to interpreting various fiscal changes
