Your Opportunity

The successful candidate will have a passion for detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment. Administrative background, a passion for customer service and attention to detail.

As Co-Op Student - Burnaby Warehouse, you will work with the equipment coordinator to fill equipment requests from the field crew, assist with shipping equipment, assist with cleaning and organizing the warehouse and aid the Equipment Coordinator in the daily operations of a large consulting warehouse. The successful candidate will gain exposure to the demand of field programs across Environmental Services and will work to ensure that the equipment management for program runs successfully. They may also become involved in best practice measures and techniques specific to maintaining equipment in good standing.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Shipping and receiving equipment for a variety of field projects.
  • Assist staff in procuring equipment and supplies
  • Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the field equipment
  • Administrative duties as required
  • Responding to equipment inquires and requests via email and Microsoft Teams.

  • Experience within a fast-paced, high demand environment
  • Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with an ability to prioritize work
  • Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Interest in Health and Safety
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a timely manner
  • Flexible work hours on occasion
