General Accountability

This position provides comprehensive consulting and support services for Unicenter® Client Management Solutions for software and hardware under End User Devices’ jurisdiction.

Key Job Functions
  • Provides comprehensive consulting and support services for ITCM® Client Management Solutions for software and hardware under End User Devices’ jurisdiction
  • Develop and revise specialized software packages for centralized deployment including those targeting security vulnerabilities, or new software applications resulting from information technology projects
  • Create queries, reports and event triggers for the integrated network management application within the TTC enterprise environment
  • Research new software and emerging information technologies and provide reports and recommendations to the Senior EUD Analyst
  • Review, reconcile and consolidate software application programs under the direction of the Senior EUD Analyst and in conjunction with End User Devices staff
  • Promotes a respectful work and service environment that supports diversity, inclusion, and is free from harassment and discrimination. Education and Experience
  • Post-secondary school in a relevant discipline or a combination of education, training and experience deemed to be equivalent
Additional Requirements
  • In-depth knowledge of desktop management practices and the Computer Associates – IT Client Management tool (ITCM® TNG –ITCM version R14) or equivalent experience (i.e. Microsoft SCCM)
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft operating systems Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10; Active Directory policies, batch scripting or equivalent, creating software administration share points for package deployment, event triggers
  • Sound knowledge of scripting tools and Unicenter architecture as it applies to software delivery and asset management or equivalent Microsoft SCCM experience
  • Familiarity with MSI's and software packaging best practices as well as experience in the creation of CA ITCM or Microsoft SCCM Packages
  • Experience with AdminStudio, VMWare Workstation, VBScript and PowerShell
  • Knowledge of system analysis and quality assurance testing functions
  • Advanced investigative and troubleshooting skills for resolving errors, application integration and performance issues
  • Ability to create queries and reports from ITCM® and review work methods/work flow review processes
  • Good organizational, analytical, verbal and written communication skills, as well as project management skills
