The electrical group is a dynamic team in which engineering, design, and leadership skills are combined to effectively support our clients. The Electrical Designer is responsible for the electrical design development of projects in the mineral processing industry.

• Prepare layouts and conceptual designs for complex problems in compliance with electrical codes
• Prepare design drawings
• Interface with other design disciplines
• Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD capabilities (Microstation, S3D, or AutoCAD)
• Check electrical layout and schematic design drawings
• Perform squad check of drawings from other disciplines
• Perform electrical calculations
• Review vendor drawings and update designs accordingly
• Assist the Design Supervisor, as required
• Other duties as assigned
