Role Mandate:
The E-commerce Coordinator is responsible for merchandise received, stocked and expediting the processing of orders. Projects work forecasts and determine productivity requirements to meet/exceed TheBay.com’s service standards and to achieve overall building objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the flow of product to ensure the timely and accurate processing of merchandise through the fulfillment center
- Leads all department related activities on a daily basis
- Develop daily plans to ensure forecasts and productivity objectives are met
- Daily review and maintenance of required reports
- Reinforce and demonstrate a positive health and safety attitude through support and enforcement of health and safety policies
- Manage assigned area and ensure all orders are processed according to company standards
- Identify and resolve order issues and ensure shipping deadlines for these orders are met
- Ensure appropriate management levels are aware of problem trends so corrective measures can be implemented
- Must be able to work independently
- Maintain the work area to a high standard of organization and cleanliness
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Minimum of a high school education. Prefer candidate with some post-secondary education.
- 2-3 years of experience in a retail, wholesale, or direct to consumer inventory control function, preferably in an automated environment
- Minimum of 1 year of retail distribution experience (business or consumer)
- Familiar with RF technology
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong sense of urgency and the capacity to accomplish results while under pressure
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Knowledge of Manhattan/WMS is an asset
- Cross train and work for other departments as required
- Must have understanding of English language both written and verbal
- Excellent verbal communication
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) intermediate to advanced knowledge is required.
- Dependable, work with a sense of urgency; Flexible in work hours
- Essential, sustainable physical requirements include: standing/walking for long periods of time, lifting up to 30 lbs, bending, climbing ladders/stairs
