JOB OVERVIEW
Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is looking for dynamic, strategic and results-driven students to join our team in the role of Inspection & Maintenance Technician / Technology Skilled Trade Student. We have multiple opportunities available across our Durham and Clarington locations. Please note that our Clarington locations are not accessible by public transit. There are positions available for both four (4) and eight (8) month work terms and start in January, 2024.

The compensation rate for these positions starts at $25.83 per hour and will commensurate with experience.
The successful candidates will have the opportunity to assist in a variety of work assignments, which may include:
Operation and claibration of equipment
Performance of non destructive examinations (NDE)
Mobilization, demobilization and maintenance of NDE Inspection equipment including NDE tool delivery systems
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
All students must:
Be currently enrolled as a full-time, post-secondary student in a recognized institution specializing in a program such as:
Mechanical Engineering Technician (NDE)
Quality Engineering Technican (NDE)
Electrical Technican
Have completed a minimum of 1st year in college by the start of the opportunity.
Have a minimum average of 70% cumulative GPA.
Be returning to full-time studies in the same program following the completion of the work term OR require the work term or co-op placement to graduate.
