Adecco is currently hiring a temporary full-time Distribution Operator in Stouffville, ON. In this role you will be responsible for managing the distribution of goods and materials within our organization's supply chain. Pay Rate: $21.00/hour
Location: Stouffville, ON
Shift: 9:00am - 4:30pm

Responsibilities:
Prepare stock and floor orders for shipment by checking for proper description of product, lot numbers, and recording specified amounts on the packing slip by using the computer.
Operate PadPak/strapping machines for final preparation prior to shipment.
Work with FedEx, Purolator and UPS systems along with internal system,
Complete quality work at accepted department/production determined rates.
Perform work in compliance with company Quality Policy Manual.
Building boxes to stock tally stations.
Recycling boxes.
Receiving shipments of supplies
Prepare shipments for cross dock.
Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization.
Must strictly adhere to safety requirements.
Must maintain company quality and quantity standards.
Must have effective communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision.
Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions.
Ability to visually recognize product/catalog descriptions.
Ability to work standing and be mobile for a full eight-hour day.
Complete quality work at accepted department/production determined rates.
Perform work in compliance with company Quality Policy Manual.
Pull product and quantities for customer orders accurately and deliver to scanning station.
Receive shipments from manufacturer, scan product to the bulk storage locations.
Replenish live picking locations.
Perform cycle counts.
Process returned goods product from customers.
Complete quality work at accepted department/production determined rates.
Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization.
Must strictly adhere to safety requirements
Qualifications:
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
High School Diploma or Equivalency Diploma
1-2 years of related experience
Occasionally lifts and/or moves boxes up to 50-75 pounds.
Frequent repetitive motion.
Frequently required to stand, walk use hands to grasp, carry, feel or touch; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch; talk and hear.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
