We are seeking a visionary and accomplished Supply Chain Director who will lead a team focused on Enterprise Supply Chain Data and Transformative AI Data Initiatives to revolutionize our supply chain operations.

As the Supply Chain Data Services Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing data-related strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain processes. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the data architecture, establishing data governance standards, deriving actionable insights from data, and developing a comprehensive data strategy and roadmap aligned to our business objectives. You will also be responsible for driving the strategic vision and execution of AI-driven data solutions across our supply chain ecosystem. Leveraging your deep expertise in AI, machine learning, and supply chain management, you will lead a team of talented professionals and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize our supply chain processes and elevate our competitive advantage.
Through close collaboration with the Supply Chain Leaders, Sales & IT, you will impact our end-to-end supply chain transformation and planning capabilities by delivering data that is well defined, standardized and accessible. You will also be instrumental in leveraging advanced data analytics, machine learning, and AI techniques to transform our supply chain processes and enhance overall efficiency. Your knowledge in data science, coupled with your understanding of supply chain dynamics, will enable us to stay ahead of the competition and deliver an unparalleled customer experience.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Data Architecture:
- Develop and maintain a robust and scalable data architecture that supports the end-to-end supply chain process
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data integration points and ensure data flows seamlessly across systems
- In collaboration with IT, oversee the design and implementation of data models, data warehouses, and data pipelines to support data analytics and reporting
- Data Governance:
- Establish and implement data governance policies, that enable effective data collection & storage for utilization in AI initiatives, and ensure data quality, consistency, and security
- Identify data ownership, define data access controls, and create data dictionaries to promote a unified understanding of data elements
- Implement data documentation practices to facilitate data lineage and traceability
- Implement data governance practices to maintain data integrity and foster a data-driven culture
- Data Strategy:
- Develop a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with the company's supply chain objectives and long-term business goals
- Identify opportunities for leveraging data to improve supply chain processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall operational efficiency
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends related to supply chain data management, and recommend innovative solutions
- AI Strategy and Roadmap:
- In partnership with the Senior Director Digital transformation, develop and communicate a comprehensive AI strategy aligned with the company's supply chain objectives and long-term business goals.
- Identify AI opportunities and use cases that can enhance supply chain efficiency
- Drive the deployment of AI-powered tools to support decision-making, process automation, and data-driven insights.
- Create a roadmap for the successful implementation of AI solutions, considering scalability, feasibility, and ROI.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies, and assess their potential impact on supply chain operations.
- Data Insights:
- Lead a team of data analysts and data scientists to derive meaningful insights from large and complex supply chain datasets
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and create data-driven dashboards and reports
- Proactively monitor supply chain performance metrics, analyze trends, and present actionable insights to senior management
- Team Leadership:
- Provide strategic direction and mentorship to the data services team of 13 people, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and excellence.
- Promote a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the Digital solutions team.
- Identify talent gaps and implement strategies to attract, retain, and develop top AI talent
- Set clear performance goals, conduct regular performance evaluations, and identify opportunities for professional development.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with Supply Chain leadership to understand their needs and align AI strategies with overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI adoption in various aspects of the supply chain.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in leading data-related initiatives in a supply chain, logistics, or related domain.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and their interdependencies, coupled with expertise in data management and analytics.
- In-depth knowledge of data architecture principles, data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
- Experience in implementing data governance frameworks and data quality management practices.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent leadership skills with a track record of effectively managing and developing high-performing teams.
