The primary responsibility of the Director, Solution Consulting is to build and deliver GeoComply’s Solutions Engineering team. The focus of this role will be to find innovative solutions to the myriad challenges that are involved in the transitioning of new customers successfully into the GeoComply eco-system.
As GeoComply is rapidly entering these new markets (FinTech, Crypto, EdTech and Merchant Risk) at the same time as well as continuing to build our client portfolio in the Gaming space, the Director, Solution Consulting’s ability to take on multiple projects simultaneously while tapping into expert communication skills to work with internal colleagues to adapt existing products and services to meet the new demands of these new customers will be put to great use.
Considering that the successful candidate will be required to work and communicate with teams across four countries, three continents and a global customer base on a daily basis, and given that the significant majority of those interactions will take place solely in English, the successful candidate must be fluent in written and spoken English. In order to determine whether the knowledge of the English language was required to hold this position, GeoComply conducted a thorough analysis of its activities and:
- assessed the actual language needs associated with the duties to be performed by the successful candidate;
- ensured that the knowledge of English already required from other employees was insufficient for the performance of the successful candidate’s duties; and
- has restricted as much as possible the number of positions involving duties whose performance requires knowledge or a specific level of knowledge of English.
