This is an opportunity to join the National Bank Trust (NBT) team, a Wealth Management business line known for its rigour and expertise. NBT manages close to $139 billion in assets under management and administration (as of October 31, 2022) and serves Personal Banking and Institutional Markets clients via its Trust Services. As a Director Inside Sales, your main mandate will be to increase the volume of business of our existing customers and by establishing high standards of customer experience.

Your job

  • Participate in the definition of objectives and list of deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Plan, manage and respect deadlines
  • Effectively manage change
  • Build, train and mobilize a high-performance "sales & service" team
  • Coach a team of professionals to help them grow and achieve their goals
  • Ensure a stimulating and collaborative work environment to attract and retain the best talents
  • Manage project risks including contingencies and critical path and provide mitigation plans
  • Ensure the management of problems and risk factors according to the governance in place
  • Contribute to problem solving and suggest alternative solutions to achieve objectives
  • Ensure that an appropriate methodology is used throughout the life cycle of projects

Your team

You report directly to the Vice President Institutional Markets and you act as a dynamic leader by mobilizing a team of 5 to 6 customer service directors.

Prerequisites

  • Bachelor's degree related to the sector of activity and 5 years of relevant experience or Master's degree related to the sector of activity and six years of relevant experience
  • Five to ten years of experience in team management
  • Excellent knowledge of group retirement plans
  • A representative's certificate in group insurance of persons issued by the AMF (completed or on the way) is required
  • Focused on providing solutions.
  • Self-assurance and ability to exert a positive influence while demonstrating sensitivity and professionalism.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
