Location: We support US virtual working arrangements in the contiguous 48 states, as well as in Canada.

The opportunity:
Reporting to the Head of ALM, HuBS, this role is responsible for leading ALM initiatives, and working closely with the Product Teams across HuBS to support them on Product Design and Pricing. This person will also help bridge the time zone gap by being the go-to person for International’s management as necessary.
How you will contribute:
Support Product development & In-force management with ALM expertise
Manage different stakeholders such as product development and pricing teams, actuarial and management within HuBS
Lead and drive the development of enhanced investment and ALM strategies for new products
Drive the harmonization across Bermuda, HK, SG where deemed beneficial
Act as first point of contact for Bermuda management for all relevant ALM items and engage the other sub-alm teams (pillar 1/3 & pillar 4) as deemed necessary
Actively manage to the local guidelines to ensure Compliance with Corporate Risk Management Policies
Lead value driven initiatives to drive/ enhance HuBS’ Financial results
Lead the execution/ application of the “Best Practice” ALM practice in HuBS to fully leverage the Global ALM Practice

Strong actuarial and risk management knowledge
Strong Investments knowledge
Understand financial reporting, including IFRS17, CGAAP and HK statutory reporting
Knowledge and experience in asset / liability modelling and principles
Core Soft/Transferable Competencies Required
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Good planning and coaching skills
Accuracy and attention to details
Can work independently with minimal supervision
Strong verbal and written command of the English language
Demonstrate initiative, commitment, and responsibility
Able to present complex ideas, ALM and actuarial concepts to Management (i.e. HuBS Leadership Team)
Collaboration across various stakeholders - Regional/Corporate/ other HuBS teams
Degree holder in Actuarial Science, Mathematics/Statistics or Finance
Qualified actuary - FSA, FCIA, FIA , FIAA or equivalent
10+ years of experience in actuarial operation within a life insurance organization, including 2 years specialization in ALM or at least 2 key actuarial functions

If you are a California resident, the salary range for this position is:
Southern region: $157,600 - 236,500 annually
Central region: $166,200 - $249,400 annually
Northern region: $177,700 - $266,600 annually
If you are a Colorado resident, the salary range for this position is $150,500 - $225,800 annually.
If you are a New York resident, the salary range for this position is $177,700 - $266,600 annually.
If you are Washington resident, the salary range for this position is $166,200 - $249,400 annually.
