WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
The Digital Marketing Web Developer will be responsible for development for internal / external websites and web applications for Capital Markets. In this role, you will be working on new components and web experiences, supporting the content management system and driving global marketing campaigns. The role will coordinate, develop, manage communication, and execute activities to bring client-facing experiences to life.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Develop and execute on web projects such as new web pages or web components.
Build and use technology supporting marketing including web analytics, email campaigns and media delivery.
Continuously identify potential issues, conflicts, and risks. Analyze, mitigate and escalate where appropriate.
Collaborate and contribute on marketing and technology initiatives and manage the effective implementation of assigned deliverables.
Establish strong working relationships across business units and platforms to build influence and impact with key business partners. Collaborate with groups to define and achieve deliverables and ensure initiatives are effectively integrated into RBC procedures and processes.
Contribute to ongoing administrative program activities as required.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Must have:
Experience in web/front-end development.
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML
Visual / UX design skills; principles of design for web.
Experience working with web content management systems.
Familiarity with the Google Marketing Platform and web analytics/KPIs
An understanding of technology and/or the financial services industry.
Deadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
Nice-to-have:
Working knowledge of .Net and or Node.js, other front-end development frameworks – Knockout, React, Angular an asset.
Knowledge of Marketing automation tools an asset
Knowledge of OpenText CMS an asset
Knowledge of best practices for web accessibility, performance, and SEO
Knowledge of GIT & build processes.
Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses
