The team you'll be part of
Network Infrastructure
The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society. Nokia’s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.
Network Automation's DevOps Team is looking for passionate software engineers to develop best-in-class tools to increase the team's productivity and discover ways to deliver a high-quality product. Come help build our environments, tools, and processes for our R&D community. You'll analyze existing systems, identify inefficiencies, propose solutions, and plan to implement the solutions. Come champion the DevOps culture to our R&D community and seek to improve our tools and processes and your skills continually.
Education Recommendations
Currently a candidate for bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer, network, systems or related field with an accredited school in Canada.
What you will learn and contribute to
As part of our team, you will:
- Learn about systems and networking.
- Learn to automate as much as possible, so you can work on other great things...until you automate that.
- Learn about DevOps practices and processes.
- Have a great team of mentors
- Look at new technologies.
What is Nokia looking for from me
You have:
- Linux and or MacOs experience
- Scripting languages like Python, Bash
- A large want to learn as much as possible in a term
It would be nice if you also had:
- Networking experience
- Java or Go experience
