Position Summary

The BlackBerry Product Security team is seeking talented individuals with an eye for details and a passion for data analysis and data analytics.  In this role, you will have the opportunity to help support our organization's data capture, management, and analysis strategies. This data will be used not only for internal support and management, but to help inform our customers of security status and posture.

Location: Waterloo, ON

Length of Term: 4 Months

What you will do

• Work with stakeholders across the organization to understand and document their requirements
• Analyze and document improvements to Product Security's data model strategy
• Create and manage data models from multiple databases within Microsoft PowerBI
• Transform data using DAX and Power Query within PowerBI
• Work to visualize data and build reports based off user requirements

Who we are looking for

• Currently pursuing a relevant degree (Data Science, Machine Learning, etc.)
• Experience with working on complex data models
• Demonstrated experience with SQL and other data management languages
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Microsoft PowerBI, QlikView, or similar
• Strong oral and written communication skills
