Adecco is currently hiring a Cyber Risk Reporting Specialist for a long-term remote contract opportunity. This role is ideal for an experienced cybersecurity professional with strong risk reporting, governance, and stakeholder communication skills who can translate complex technical security findings into clear, executive-level business insights.
In this position, you will lead the development and delivery of cyber system risk reports, working closely with internal assurance, security, and governance teams. You will analyze outputs from threat and risk assessments and penetration tests, apply established cybersecurity frameworks, and ensure risks are clearly documented, tracked, and communicated to senior stakeholders.
Salary: $68.82 – $103.23/hour
Location: Ottawa, ON (Remote)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp Contract (1.5 years with 6-month extension option)

Responsibilities
Lead the creation, drafting, and finalization of executive-level cyber risk reports for internal stakeholders
Translate complex technical findings from Threat and Risk Assessments (TRAs) and penetration tests into clear business insights
Manage the cyber risk reporting workflow and maintain reporting queue priorities within the assurance team
Apply cybersecurity risk frameworks such as NIST (CSF, SP 800-30, SP 800-53) and HTRA methodology
Document, track, and manage cyber risks using ServiceNow GRC, including risk registers, treatment plans, and remediation tracking
Convert vulnerability and threat data into business impact statements and risk treatment recommendations
Support governance forums, internal audit processes, and regulatory inquiries with clear documentation and reporting
Ensure consistency, quality, and timeliness of all cyber risk reporting deliverables
Provide guidance on risk articulation, reporting standards, and framework alignment where required
Produce documentation and artifacts for leadership, governance committees, and enterprise stakeholders
Maintain high standards of clarity when communicating sensitive cybersecurity risk information
Ensure alignment between technical findings and enterprise risk management expectations
Qualifications
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
University degree or college diploma in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Risk Management, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, technology risk, or related disciplines
Minimum 3 years of experience producing executive-level cyber risk reports for senior stakeholders
Strong practical knowledge of NIST cybersecurity frameworks (CSF, SP 800-30, SP 800-53)
Experience with Harmonized Threat and Risk Assessment (HTRA) methodology
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow GRC for risk tracking, reporting, and issue management
Experience interpreting penetration test and TRA outputs and translating them into business language
Strong understanding of cyber vulnerabilities, threat landscapes, and remediation strategies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for executive and governance-level reporting
Ability to work independently and integrate quickly into an existing team environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure consistency across multiple reports
Experience using AI-assisted tools for analysis or reporting support while maintaining compliance and accuracy
Strong data comprehension skills, including structuring and interpreting complex technical datasets
