Adecco is currently hiring a temporary Customer Service Representative to work full-time hours for our client, a well-established transportation provider, located in Markham, ON.
As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in maintaining positive relationships with customers by providing exceptional assistance, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues. You will serve as the primary point of contact between the company and its customers, ensuring their needs are met and their concerns are addressed in a professional and efficient manner. Pay Rate: $21/hour
Location: Markham, ON
Shifts: Monday-Friday |9:00am – 5:00pm
Job type: Temporary long term with potential to become a permanent position

Responsibilities:
Provide highest level of customer service to all customers
Answer inbound calls in a busy call center
Answer customer inquiries
Provide quotes, check availability, and confirm bookings
Ask questions and extract required details from customers for booking inquiries
Respond to customer inquiries and problems by providing timely and accurate information or directing inquires to appropriate staff member
Treat each customer and staff member with courtesy, dignity and respect of privacy
Meet or exceed established performance requirements and follow and execute departmental procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Previous experience in a high-volume call center is an asset
Must be proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook
Good knowledge of Ontario geography is an asset
Must have passion for providing excellent customer service and ability to listen and execute the customer’s needs
Communication, organizational and interpersonal skills are required
Able to prioritize work with excellent attention to detail
Excellent oral and written communication skills, professional and friendly telephone manner
Able to handle stressful situations with a positive outcome
Work well under pressure & meet deadlines.
Basic understanding of Product Supply function would be helpful, but not mandatory.
SAP knowledge is an asset
