Champion Health & Safety Excellence Across Our Organization
As the Manager, Corporate Health & Safety, you will ensure compliance with provincial and federal health and safety regulations while fostering a culture of safety across our organization. Led by the Director, Health & Safety, this position will best suit a proactive, strategic leader driven by a passion for workplace safety and inspired to creative impactful safety programs that protect and empower our Team Members.

- Lead the Health & Safety department, providing guidance and support to meet organizational and Team Member needs in an efficient and timely manner.
- Research, develop and implement Health & Safety policies to proactively align with evolving legislation.
- Design and deliver compliance-focused training programs for Team Members and Safety Committees.
- Conduct workplace audits to ensure compliance with company standards and government regulations.
- Investigate workplace incidents, recommend preventative actions, and maintain detailed records.
- Act as the primary liaison with external regulatory bodies such as WSPS, MOL, MOT, and TSSA.
- Develop and monitor Return-to-Work plans for injured Team Members.
- Serve as a backup contact for emergency situations, including fire protection system responses.
We’re looking for:
- College Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or similar program. Certified Health and Safety Consultant designation is preferred.
- 5–10 years of experience leading health and safety programs in dynamic and complex work environment, with a strong focus on compliance, training, and fostering a culture of safety.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, with the ability to interpret Ontario regulations.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to engage and secure buy-in from internal stakeholders to drive safety initiatives forward.
- Analytical and time-management abilities to prioritize competing demands.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Availability to work flexible hours and respond 24/7 to emergencies.
- The ability to be onsite 5 days a week at our corporate office in St. Jacobs, to accommodate the needs of the role.
