Adecco is currently hiring a Contract Senior Business Analyst for a 12-month opportunity in Calgary, AB. This role is part of a Business Transformation team focused on ERP modernization, Artificial Intelligence (AI) strategy development, and cost-competitive initiatives that drive business value and operational efficiency.

The successful candidate will work closely with Business Opportunity Managers (BOMs), portfolio teams, AI developers, and cross-functional business units to support the documentation, analysis, and advancement of transformation initiatives across process, data, operating models, and AI use cases.

  • Location: Calgary, Alberta

  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day (on-site, 5 days per week)

  • Duration: 12-month contract

  • Vacancy Status: Contract opportunity

Responsibilities

  • Develop and document business cases in collaboration with Business Opportunity Managers, ensuring updates throughout early project stages and readiness for execution handoff

  • Capture, assess, and prioritize AI use cases in collaboration with business and AI teams

  • Conduct and support process mapping workshops to document current and future state processes, including controls, data, people, and technology integration

  • Define and track value metrics and KPIs for AI and ERP initiatives to ensure alignment with business objectives

  • Support creation of project stage gate documentation, including decision records, risks, uncertainties, and interdependencies

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize value-creating opportunities across the organization

  • Support ad hoc Business Transformation initiatives as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience

  • Strong experience in an oil and gas environment

  • Solid understanding of ERP systems, business applications, and/or Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions

  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Ability to influence stakeholders and build strong cross-functional relationships

  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills

  • Ability to clearly communicate complex information to diverse audiences

  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
