Introduction
As a Package Consultant at IBM, get ready to tackle numerous mission-critical company directives. Our team takes on the challenge of designing, developing and re-engineering highly complex application components and integrating software packages using various tools. You will use a mix of consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients' business environment and achieve business results.

Your Role and Responsibilities
This position resides in Toronto, ON and is a 4 month work term commencing in September 2023. It is mandatory that all applicants are enrolled in full-time studies at a post-secondary institution and returning to full-time studies upon completion of the work-term.

As an SAP Consulting Intern, you’ll be right at the intersection of technology, people, and process. You’ll play a role as part of a team that advises clients on business transformation through an analytical approach that combines human-centered design and an understanding of emerging technologies and platforms. You may:

• Identify and analyze opportunities and obstacles clients face in global and increasingly competitive markets
• Use IBM Enterprise Design Thinking to help solve client challenges
• Enable your project team by running/supporting workshops, meetings, and stakeholder interviews, and developing communications tailored to specific audiences
• Define current and future operational scenarios through process maps, models, use cases, and plans
• Translate client requirements into analytical specifications for the implementation of SAP technology solutions
• Identify issues, create hypotheses, and execute analyses, developing decision-ready recommendations to inform the strategic agenda for clients
• Support your project team through the development of documentation and execution of testing

• You demonstrate leadership and flexibility, with a willingness to readily and voluntarily take ownership of highly meaningful tasks and problems, even beyond your initial scope of responsibility
• You are thorough and analytical; capable of applying logic to solve problems
• You can handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet target timelines while maintaining focus, despite conflicting demands
• You take initiative to actively seek new knowledge and improve your skills
• You collaborate effectively with diverse individuals and strengthen relationships to achieve well-designed solutions
• Must be eligible to work 4 months starting in September 2023
