 Job Description: 

POSITION SUMMARY

Provide support to the CEM team, which manages primary and secondary market research activities to develop competitive insights and other materials to help key BlackBerry stakeholders. The successful candidate will offer a combination of business and IT technical skills and will interface with a range of company stakeholders, including senior BlackBerry executives and product, sales, and marketing leaders. This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to learn how to effectively gather insights from market and competitive data and how to turn that insight into action. 

Location: Mississauga or Waterloo, ON
Length of Term: 8 Months

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gather and develop competitive insights to support BlackBerry product, marketing and sales teams
  • Respond to requests for market and competitive data from stakeholders across the business
  • Research and uncover key data points for use in internal market and competitive intelligence briefings
  • Evaluate and test various BlackBerry enterprise software solutions and services in an IT environment

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently pursuing a post-secondary degree/program in a related field
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of IT operating systems, mobile devices, and mobility solutions
  • Hands-on technical experience with enterprise IT software and services preferred
  • Ability to clearly and concisely present information to senior stakeholders
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and requests

ADDITIONAL ASSETS

  • Interested in/Experience with Enterprise software/technology
  • Interested in market research – qualitative and/or quantitative
