The MacEachen Institute for Public Policy and Governance at Dalhousie University is a nationally focused, non-partisan, interdisciplinary institute designed to support the development of public policy and to encourage greater citizen engagement. The Institute looks at ways to tackle public policy and governance issues through open discussion with a variety of informed players and aims to serve as the “go to” place provincially, regionally and nationally for rich, robust public policy debate, discussion and research. Reporting to the Scholarly Director, the Communications Officer will deliver effective communications in ways that are innovative, refined, and versatile, in order to raise the profile of the MacEachen Institute and engage a wide range of audiences including the public and private sectors, not-for-profit, students, and academics.
