WSP E&I Canada Ltd. is seeking a Water Resources Engineering CO-OP Student to join our Burlington Water Resources Group. The successful candidate will join our unique team of professionals engaged in consulting and design..

A day in the life:
- You’ll be responsible for a variety of tasks which could include:
- hydrological data gathering (field work - stream flow measurements),
- data management and analysis (peak flow, mean flows, precipitation);
- open channel hydraulics computations; input to river engineering designs;
- assist with construction inspection/monitoring;
- assist with project reporting.
- Required safety training will be provided.
- Occasional field work in remote areas may also be involved
What you'll bring to WSP ...
- You should be in your senior year of engineering, familiar with word processing and spreadsheets.
- Knowledge of other engineering software like HEC-RAS, graphic presentation software packages and other drawing programs would also be an asset.
- Oral and written communication skills are essential.
- The student should be able to work in a group setting, as well as independently on specific tasks.
- This job gives students the opportunity to get involved in many unique and interesting projects that will leave them with great technical skills and experience within a wide variety of engineering situations
