WSP E&I Canada Ltd. is seeking a Water Resources Engineering CO-OP Student to join our Burlington Water Resources Group. The successful candidate will join our unique team of professionals engaged in consulting and design..

A day in the life:

• You’ll be responsible for a variety of tasks which could include:
  • hydrological data gathering (field work - stream flow measurements),
  • data management and analysis (peak flow, mean flows, precipitation);
  • open channel hydraulics computations; input to river engineering designs;
  • assist with construction inspection/monitoring;
  • assist with project reporting.
• Required safety training will be provided.
• Occasional field work in remote areas may also be involved

What you'll bring to WSP ...

• You should be in your senior year of engineering, familiar with word processing and spreadsheets.
• Knowledge of other engineering software like HEC-RAS, graphic presentation software packages and other drawing programs would also be an asset.
• Oral and written communication skills are essential.
• The student should be able to work in a group setting, as well as independently on specific tasks.
• This job gives students the opportunity to get involved in many unique and interesting projects that will leave them with great technical skills and experience within a wide variety of engineering situations
