As a student in this business analyst role within Solution Design and Delivery (SD&D) you will conduct business analysis functions to successfully identify and document business requirements that are aligned with organizational enterprise architecture, delivery and process goals.

You will use your expertise to:

  • Work with the senior analysts to support them with business leaders and subject matter experts in identifying and bringing strategic initiatives from concept  to completion
  • Support the SD&B that manages a function or technical area to successfully align with overall organizational, delivery and process goals
  • Lead and manage the design and builds service function aligned to functional / development processes and oversee the execution of the function while resolving any escalations within the team
  • Provide general support to the Solution Design & Build teams
  • Analyze, support requirements gathering, contribute to deliver Requirements Artifacts
  • Assist in project activities as assigned
  • Confirm that projects adhere to development standards and guidelines

  • Current enrolment in a formal business co-op program at an accredited post-secondary institution, and returning to full-time studies after the work term

Where you’ll be working, your work schedule, and other important information:

  • You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.
  • Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
  • This is a 8-12 month role starting in January 2020
