What you’ll be doing:
- Provide leadership and supervision to associates including orientation and training
- support and monitor successful clinical performance
- Review relevant documentation produced by clinicians
- Provide input and collaborate around organization-wide issues such as business strategies, product and services development, strategic and tactical planning.
- Support project requests including collaboration with Operations in providing periodic analysis of product and program development needs
- Work collaboratively as part of an integrated team and collaborate with EFAP and other Homewood Health services to coordinate service
- Provide clinical practice expertise regarding case management and professional consultation
- Drive high-level service delivery to ensure customer satisfaction and take corrective action as needed in response to client survey evaluations, complaints, etc.
- Collaborate with internal customers regarding inquiries
- Ensure that the network has the most current and appropriate information regarding services, service expectations and best practices
- Establish standards of consultant/oversight of EMHC services by Clinical Managers & Service Providers including psychotherapy for depression, anxiety, trauma and SUD
- Provide hours of direct service as well as consultation to Service Providers as needed
- Provide after-hours consultation to staff and associates regarding risk situations
- Monitor clinicians’ numbers of hours per EMHC case, associates level of bookings as well as associates hourly rates and take corrective action as appropriate
- Establish and monitor quality performance indicators for services provided
- Contribute to organizational quality management activities
What we’re looking for:
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field
- Registration with provincial governing body is required, registration as Psychologist or Psychotherapist mandatory
- 5 years’ clinical counselling experience with expertise in delivery of psychotherapy, particularly in the treatment of depression, anxiety and substance use disorders and/or relapse prevention treatment
- Knowledge of assessment, crisis management and previous EFAP services would be an asset
- 1 year of experience in a supervisory/management role
- Background in psychometric testing with strong interviewing and assessment skills
- Creative and consultative-minded clinician with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong people management skills with proven ability to motivate a performing team and create an environment where people are accountable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, French would be an asset
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Is a change agent within their department/division
- Excellent presentation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Awareness and acknowledgement of the value of using measurement-based care when supporting patients/clients to help guide clinical decision making; experience an asset
