Job Description

The Client Solutions Lead is a client facing position that provides subject matter expertise in understanding the client’s business needs and helping to define the best Broadridge solution. This will include regular meetings with the top clients to ensure that there is a solid understanding of the business needs and project pipelines for the clients.

Key Job Functions/Responsibilities

  • The focus is providing proactive solutions and leadership to Dataphile’s top clients.

  • Participate in regularly scheduled meetings with Business, IT and Operations stakeholders, coordinated with Account Management and/or directly over time.

  • Proactively engaging with business, IT and operations teams with the goal to:

    • Understand client business objectives and priorities, creating ‘Know your Client’ type documents (for internal use) to record these business objectives

    • Work with clients to demonstrate ways in which BR capabilities can be leveraged to create value

    • Propose ideas to clients that will accelerate their ability to achieve their goals - discuss our solutions to generate interest – act as a ‘solutions advocate’

  • Work with Clients/Internal Stakeholders to lead brainstorming sessions to develop solutions for business needs or problems.

  • Synergize requests between clients and identify opportunities to create modular solutions that can be re-sold – ensure design covers multiple client processes within a modular framework and solutions are scalable.

    • When a component has been identified, raise the opportunity to Account management for sales awareness, and ensure the module is identified to Product Management and the VP Client Services for appropriate pricing (e.g., usage fees vs one-time development fees)

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements.

  • Consult on external requests that are considered high impact (changes to regulatory reporting, trading etc.).

  • Participate in Metis Review and FRD Review meetings to provide feedback on proposed development.

  • Where needed assist with the creation and review of requirement documents, including client-side requirements as required with the goal to help move initiatives forward, and ensure client requirements are clear

  • Review product at scheduled checkpoints during the development phase to ensure it continues to meet client needs.

  • Schedule and facilitate review meetings with client to show progress and solicit feedback.

  • Look for opportunities to expand BR product offerings and bottom line with value-add solutions.

Basic Skill Level Requirements

Education:

  • University education in technology and/or Finance

  • Understanding of Dataphile product suite

Experience:

  • 5-10 years working in a development environment understanding how to translate client requirements into Business requirement documents

  • Solid understanding of Dataphile products

  • Nice to have would be solid understanding of other Broadridge products

Skills:

  • Sound financial market understanding in Canada

Tools:

  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft products
