RBC Royal Bank is seeking a core banking expert for our US Cash Management Technology. This is a green field project to build a brand-new system to serve our corporate clients. You will be heavily involved in shaping the future technology landscape of RBC, by delivering key business values for a transformational project in our Banking Technology while implementing strategic components servicing across all RBC functions defined in our roadmap.

What is the opportunity?

Digital Onboarding Integration BA Lead will drive Interface/Data analysis and manage evaluation of business processes, Lead will engage with various Tech partners across the organization to document end-to-end requirements including, but not limited, to entity onboarding, account opening and product setup In addition, analyst is to liaise with key stakeholders and program leads & teams to support overall communications across teams.

You are not afraid of challenging the team on details and be able to think functionally.

You will require a thorough understanding of strategic direction of the function within the relevant part of the business, combined with a solid conceptual/practical grounding in both the function and/or area of expertise and related subject areas.

What will you do?

  • Work directly with Technology teams of different Workstream on building out the Digital Channel experience for the new Cash Management platform for the bank
  • Collect and document requirements from key stakeholders across KYC, Credit, AML, Core Banking & Liquidity, Payments, Operations and others
  • Participate in the testing, deployment and continuous integration of relevant systems
  • Provide support to Product, Technology and Operations teams
  • Eliciting the requirements needed to carry out business processes including interviews, intelligence analysis and survey assessments.
  • Translating business needs, processes and procedures into a workable system, and articulating on specific software requirements by communicating about these requirements with technology experts and business stakeholders.
  • Working closely with business architects and other technology staff to deliver project results while implementing risk analysis and meeting required deliverable.

What do you need to succeed?
Must-have

  • 8+ years of Business and /or Technical Analyst experience within Corporate Banking / Cash Management and /or Capital Markets
    • Strong understanding of Corporate Banking and Cash Management
  • Good understanding of Onboarding journey; Domain knowledge on Cash management covering Digital account opening and product onboarding enabling clients to access various products, services, and capabilities
    • Agile scrum environment and continuous integration experience
    • Startup mindset (comfortable with quick pace, quick change, ambiguities)
    • Experience in drafting Interface requirement documents, IRD etc.
    • Strong analytical/problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and pro-active with proven ability to work accurately and under pressure to meet deadlines
    • Strong communication skills - Ability to summarize and explain clearly large and complex information to a wide range of audiences (senior managers, audit, controller, finance, model developers, regulators and controls)

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders
  • A "can do" attitude
  • Be able to adjust quickly to changes
  • Must be a team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources
  • Must be able to see tasks through to completion without significant guidance
