Teck is currently accepting applications for the position of Carpenter Apprentice. Teck recruits proactively to build a talent pool for current and/or future opportunities. 

Reporting to the Facilities Supervisor, Carpenter Apprentices work alongside Red Seal Carpenters with tasks related to carpentry.

Responsibilities: 

• Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures 
• Inspect and conduct various carpentry repairs
• Measure, cut and shape lumber, wood, and other building materials
• Build and install concrete walls
• Preparing surfaces and laying tile

Qualifications: 

• Registered 2nd, 3rd or 4th year Carpenter Apprentice 
• Valid driver’s license 
• Strong interpersonal skills 
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
