- Promotes an environment that reinforces the highest standards of ethics and integrity by providing guidance to, and interpreting Walmart’s Code of Conduct for, Walmart associates across Canada. Ensuring that recommended actions/behaviours are consistent and aligned with Walmart’s core beliefs and values.
- Leads the development and execution of plans for various ethics program initiatives and partners with applicable stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
- Manages the ethics training and awareness program, including; the creation of action plans and content; liaising with partners to design, develop and execute; deliver training; and ensuring the completion of all appropriate monitoring and tracking activities.
- Leads the execution and/or coordination of activities to assess the effectiveness of the Ethics program, including risk assessments, monitoring activities and audits/reviews.
- Evaluates ethics program elements to drives continuous improvement and the evolution of the program.
- Responsible for managing the Ethics referral and redirect programs, as well as maintaining an appropriate case load, as well as, assists with case management overflow as appropriate.
- Responsible for monthly and quarterly reporting on all Ethics case metrics, as well as identifying trends, insights and remedial actions, in collaboration with Ethics Case Managers and investigators.
- Develops and improves market specific tools/processes to further enhance case handling to exceed established key performance indicators and business needs.
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of related work experience in case management, investigations, HR, Asset Protection and/or Legal
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and decision making
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate thoughts, rationale and influence others
- Strong problem solving skills coupled with the ability to recommend and make decisions autonomously in the face of ambiguity
- Ability to work cross-functionally, build strong relationships and partner effectively with others to address complex issues
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
- Effective training facilitation skills
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
- Proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
