Summary
Bell Media Penticton is looking for a Board Operator/Producer. We need an energetic and passionate person to join our team providing in-studio support for our live coverage of Penticton Vees hockey and for remote broadcasts on all 4 stations within the south Okanagan. Shifts include daytime and evening weekend shifts with some limited weekday shifts possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Producing our hockey broadcasts of the BCHL’s Penticton Vees, from pre-game to post game show and everything in between.
- Recording, producing & exporting cut-ins for “on-location” remote broadcasts.
- Download programming and commercial files and import them into local servers for broadcast.
- Promotional and publicity responsibilities for Bell Media as required and assigned
- Other duties as assigned.
Critical Qualifications
- Strong computer skills and understanding of digital audio recording.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage several tasks simultaneously.
- A full and unrestricted Class 5 drivers’ licence with a clean drivers’ abstract is required
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in broadcasting or equivalent.
- Energetic, positive, hard-working and self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills.
