Adecco is currently hiring a full-time dynamic and highly skilled Medical Affairs Partner to support scientific communication, promotional material review, medical education, and strategic alignment across the Aesthetics portfolio. In this influential role, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, healthcare professionals, and senior leadership to ensure compliant, accurate, and impactful medical strategies that support brand success and scientific excellence.

This position combines Medical Advisor expertise, promotional review oversight, KOL engagement, training responsibilities, and cross‑functional medical leadership—ideal for candidates with strong pharmaceutical, medical affairs, or MSL backgrounds.

  • Pay Rate: $52.00 - $53.90/hr (based on experience)

  • Location: Ottawa, ON -- Ontario Based but National Coverage - Travel Required for this role

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time | 1-year contract

Responsibilities:

Promotional Review, Scientific Communication & Training

  • Manage Pharma COMM promotional materials across all brands and act as the Medical Affairs Aesthetics VEEVA Vault Super User.

  • Support review and approval of promotional content, ensuring scientific accuracy and compliance with company policies, national regulations, and industry standards.

  • Partner with brand teams to standardize product claims, references, and propose new claims that align with evolving brand strategies.

  • Keep the Medical team informed of updates to brand strategies and tactical plans.

  • Deliver high-quality scientific and clinical training to commercial teams.

  • Provide Medical Information support by supplying accurate, evidence-based scientific responses on company products.

Medical Affairs – Scientific Advisor, Education & Strategic Alignment

  • Coordinate and deliver approved scientific and clinical content for workshops and educational programs targeting HCPs.

  • Support the Country Medical Head with DPOs, Scientific GAP assessments, and strategic planning.

  • Collaborate with Field Medical Advisors (FMAs) and cross‑functional partners to tailor scientific education to local needs.

  • Support logistics and implementation of medical education and trainer development programs.

  • Partner with the Medical Head – Canada to develop Medical Affairs priorities, strategies, and action plans aligned with regional and global teams.

  • Contribute to Medical Affairs plans that support HCPs and drive scientific engagement and business unit success.

KOL Engagement & Study Support

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with national Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), academic institutions, and scientific partners.

  • Provide medical value messaging and identify emerging scientific trends.

  • Support development of scientific programs (e.g., advisory boards) and manage investigator‑initiated or sponsored study responsibilities in alignment with SOPs and regulatory requirements.

Cross-Functional & Business Unit Support

  • Work collaboratively with Brand, Regulatory, AMI, and leadership teams to develop and execute medical strategies aligned with business goals.

  • Offer expert clinical insights to support brand planning, congress activities, training programs, and strategic initiatives.

  • Serve as a scientific ambassador by delivering accurate, consistent, and up‑to‑date medical information to HCPs and key stakeholders.

  • Support symposia, speaker programs, clinical trials, and scientific training while managing budgets, territory planning, and administrative duties.

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in both English and French (spoken and written).

  • Advanced scientific degree: PharmD or MD (surgical experience is an asset; occasional OR observation required).

  • Previous experience as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL).

  • Medical Affairs experience strongly valued.

  • Strong understanding of the biotech/pharmaceutical industry; aesthetics experience is a major asset.

  • Proven ability to interpret and present scientific/clinical research publications.

  • Knowledge of scientific methods, clinical research principles, and regulatory frameworks.

  • Strong interest in continuously developing expertise in assigned therapeutic areas.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

  • Comfortable working with a variety of digital systems, tools, and platforms.

  • Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time; valid driver’s license and passport required.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand stakeholder needs and support cross‑functional strategic execution.

  • Proven ability to make data‑driven decisions, deliver impactful insights, and exceed Medical Affairs objectives.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship‑building skills with inclusive, team‑oriented thinking.

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
