About the role
We're looking for students to work as Bilingual Associates, Sales and Customer Service in our growing Travel Insurance team!
If you have a passion for helping others and are known for your excellent communication and interpersonal skills, we want to meet you!
Successful candidates will be required to obtain their Accident & Sickness License and/or General License (preference will be given to candidates holding an Accident & Sickness License or a General License). These candidates will receive targeted training to become licensed insurance professionals and boost their careers in a resilient industry offering many opportunities.
You'll benefit from a hybrid work arrangement that lets you balance your professional and personal life. This position is based in our Sherbrooke office (2665 King Street West, Sherbrooke).
Please note that the start date would be April 25, 2025.

Your schedule:
- During training (10 weeks): full-time 35h/week
- After training: You must be available to work a minimum of 21h/week during sessions and 35h/week during school breaks.
- Your part-time work schedule can be adapted to your school schedule, based on our business hours (Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 8:00pm and Saturday, 9:00am to 5:00pm)
What you’ll do here:
- Work in a fast-paced, computerized customer contact center answering incoming calls.
- Quote and sell travel insurance to new and existing customers nationwide.
- Handle telephone calls and emails from existing customers in a professional and timely manner.
- Process insurance transactions in accordance with underwriting and compliance guidelines to meet quality expectations.
- Utilize established procedures and promote cross-selling of services.
- Obtain and/or maintain provincial licenses in all required Canadian jurisdictions.
What you bring to the table:
- High school diploma or Canadian equivalent
- Flexibility to work days, evenings and Saturdays
- Bilingualism (French/English) is mandatory: requires answering calls and providing service to an English and French speaking clientele on a regular basis
- Excellent organizational and customer service skills
- Natural communicator that understands how to listen and empathize with others
- Tech-savvy and comfortable navigating between different systems
- Ability to multi-task and stay cool under pressure
- Experience in the travel industry would be an asset
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, in a dynamic environment
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada
