Job Summary
The BI & Automation Analyst (RPA), Co-op Student will gain hands-on experience working with leading automation software applications and business intelligence technologies. Primary objectives include develop and support automation and reporting solutions, monitoring process jobs, communicating status and investigate issues as they arise. This involves having a detailed understanding of business processes and being able to logically trace steps to determine issue resolutions. This role will provide support in the enhancements of existing solutions and development of new project.
What you will do:
Participate in requirements gathering sessions for process reviews, assist in BI & RPA feasibility to assess processes, capture steps and tasks required for process automation
Develop and support automations and orchestrations using UiPath and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) from proof-of-concept to production deployment
Coordinate data reconciliation, maintenance and troubleshooting
Develop workflow and integrate with SharePoint and Microsoft 365
Provide technical support and enhancements for existing RPA automations and BI solutions which includes troubleshooting, re-running jobs in orchestrator, communicating with business teams
Produce, edit, and review key project documents (Process Design, Technical Design, User Support, etc..)
Research latest trends in emerging technologies and technical practices
What you bring:
Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software development
Understanding and knowledge of basic C# and .Net programming skills (conditional/non conditional data handling, exception handling)
Intermediate knowledge of and development with UiPath and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Azure, SharePoint, Teams, and Common Data Service)
Understanding of PowerApps formulas and best practices
Intermediate to advanced SQL, data models
Know how to set up and troubleshoot custom connectors within Power Apps and Power BI
Python coding experience would be considered an asset
Experience coding and/or using REST APIs, JSON parsing would be considered an assetKnowledge of data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong collaboration skills - you partner well with others to solve problems and actively incorporate input from various sources and collecting business requirements
Working with key stakeholders to drive business results
